The Course
Our course is residential only and held in central Birmingham.
Accommodation is very comfortable with excellent facilities including
all meals, wifi and class room on site.
Training will be conducted initially in the class room and secure
location utilising private roads, designated expendable training
vehicles etc to recreate realistic scenario based training. The final
stages will see students progress to a variety of public venues for the
assessment phases. This includes several mini and one 2 day exercise.

• Vehicle drills (up to 3 vehicle hostile environment) *
• Driver training ROSPA Advanced Instructors *

• First aid at work including oxygen therapy and defibrillator *
• Pre hospital trauma care (Royal College of Surgeons)*
• Current law and legislation
• Conflict management
• Verbal & non verbal communication *
• Self defence & control and restraint *
• Reconnaissance
• Operational planning
• Route selection
• Contingency planning *
• Surveillance awareness
• Venue & person search awareness
• Residential security

Our course is run over 18 days and is designed to be challenging and
enjoyable. It gives candidates an array of experiences and environments
to operate in under the close guidance offered with a high instructor to
student ratio. The course culminates in a final online multiple choice
exam marked by EDEXCEL.
