Witness Protection
Criminals, especially
those facing long custodial sentences, will go to great lengths to
interfere with judicial process in order to frustrate their own or
another’s trial. Such interference can involve the intimidation of key
witnesses and prosecution agents employed by the crown.
Witness Protection is designed to manage and mitigate the risk of
intimidation and provide a safe environment, peace of mind and a sense
of security for those key witnesses and professionals who are crucial to
the prosecution. The management of that risk must be assessed and
facilitated before, during and after the trial which in many instances
may last for many weeks.
Our Witness Protection Team will provide round the clock protection for
those key individuals, many of whom will feel vulnerable, unconfident
and uncertain about their appearance at court. We undertake our
responsibilities in partnership with the Police service, the Crown
Prosecution Service and Local Authorities and work within the remits of
UK legislation. Our aim is to prevent opportunities for intimidation and
ensure the safety of our client, at the same time promoting a sense of
well being for those key individuals, whose attendance at court in many
cases, is pivotal to supporting a successful prosecution.

• Secure low profile transportation to and from any Court
• Relocation of key personnel
• Professional liaison with partner agencies including risk management
and mitigation.
SPG can provide male and female Close Protection Officers who have
worldwide experience in protecting Diplomats, MP’s, and other Executive
clientele. Most of our Witness Protection Team have extensive Police law
enforcement backgrounds.
